It is a great pleasure and privilege for me to be able to greet you via email and share with you something from my heart. As you may know, this is an exciting time for the Global Christian Network, not only because of the Holiday Season, which delights young and old around the world, but also because GCN has just celebrated its one year broadcast anniversary! It has been a tremendous year, and we have seen the faithful hand of our Father every step of the way.

GCN’s team has worked with diligence and careful stewardship with the resources that the Lord has provided for the launch and continued growth of GCN. I want to offer my deepest thanks to each of your for your support: your prayers, your financial gifts, your continued viewership of GCN.

We have held in highest esteem your sacrifices and your offerings for the channel more importantly, so has God. He is so good and you will be rewarded by the hand of Him who is exceedingly more faithful than we are.

This has been a year of sowing in good soil. We have laid a firm foundation over which we can continue building in the years to come for the complete realization of the mission of GCN. We have established lasting relationships with excellent program partners and mass media outlets around the world for the expansion of the network.

The goal is that the vision of preaching the Gospel to the world be upheld first and foremost by God as well as by the millions of people currently watching and those who will come to watch GCN. We pray that they might receive salvation and healing through our Lord Jesus Christ and that they may be blessed in such a way as to be encouraged to join with us in this great work.

Among Christian mass media, GCN differentiates itself by the diversity of its programming from other cultures and nations that also reflects the high level of production our network seeks to maintain. GCN truly is a channel for all people. This year, we began a new original production in the English language – "On Air" – with the purpose of making known the vision of GCN and to establish and fortify a close relationship with our viewers. We have already begun to harvest our first fruits from this effort, which is evident through the many telephone calls, letter, offerings, and testimonies that we have received.

We have also worked arduously during the year to increase the number of hours of original programming that we offer to our viewers. GCN is now offering nearly 12 hours of unique programming each day in deferred blocks. God continues to open doors and the response has been tremendous.

As you know, on July 27th, together with the celebration of Dr. Lee’s Crusade in New York, GCN launched its first transmissions to the United States as well as a large part of Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean via INTELSAT 5 satellite. It is currently available to more than 2 million homes by way of Glorystar Satellite Systems.

This is just our first year; there is still much to do!

It has been a tremendous year and I, together with my dynamic team, am very thankful to the Lord for His great faithfulness.

I want to express my gratitude to you for the love and support that you have shown GCN and the enthusiastic response that you have given us. We have a great challenge ahead of us, but we are ready to meet it! Together with your prayers, your financial contributions, and your continued viewing of the channel, we are looking forward to an exciting 2007! We will continue to sew and God will bring the increase to His harvest.

Please receive our warmest wishes for a precious holiday season in praise to our Heavenly Father and celebration of the precious gift of His Son and the promise of abundant life. Please receive our heartfelt thanks for your faithful friendship and support. May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you now and always!
