Take-off With the great revival as in the early churches, Manmin spearheaded the
(1982~1999) national evangelization
In obedience to God’s Word, “Offer the foundation service when all kinds of grains ripen, and you have the first frost,” Manmin
offered to God the foundation service on October 10, 1982, with the passage reading from the words of Isaiah, “Arise, shine.”
The membership kept growing, reaching 3,000 in January 1987, and crossed the 10,000 mark in March 1991. The United
Holiness Church of Jesus Christ was formed in July 1991, and Dr. Jaerock Lee played pivotal roles at several seminal events in
Korea’s Christian circles, serving as Co-Chairman of “The 1992 World Holy Spirit Movement Meeting” and Chairman of “The
Peace & Unification Meeting on the 50th Anniversary of the National Liberation Day.” In 1993, Manmin Central Church was
selected as one of the “World’s Top 50 Churches” by the Christian World magazine in the U.S. In May, 1993, “The Two-Week
Special Revival Meeting” was held with countless people from home and abroad in attendance and experiencing the works of
the Holy Spirit. Starting in Washington D.C. and extending to Los Angeles, Tanzania, Japan, Hawaii, and Argentina, a foundation
for worldwide mission was laid. Experiencing revival upon revival at home, Manmin moved into a larger sanctuary in June,
1996. Through the three great trials in 1998 and 1999, God led Manmin to fulfill the Law with love, solidifying the groundwork
for an even bigger growth. From unimaginable blessings it received thereafter, Manmin became certain that the trials were of
and for blessings.
