30 Featured Programs / Reminiscence
Reminiscence is a GCN program that spreads around the world the gospel
of holiness and the works of the power. With this program, we look back at
the scenes and events from the overseas crusades of Dr. Jaerock Lee and are
reminded of those touching moments.
Since its beginning in 1982, Father God had Manmin set the foundation for
world evangelization by way of three trials. In 2000, God had Manmin em-
brace the second stage of take-off with “The 2000 Uganda Church Leaders’
Conference and Crusade.” The first episode of Reminiscence features vivid
interviews from those who accompanied and worked with Dr. Lee in Uganda.
Prior to the Crusade, Dr. Jaerock Lee stated at a press conference they would
know how almighty and great God is, and they would become firsthand
witnesses to the amazing and incredible works of God. Just as Dr. Lee said,
countless pastors were changed and healed at [The Church Leaders’ Semi-
nar] held under the theme, “The Secrets to Church Revival,” on July 5th and
6th, 2000. The three-day Crusade began on July 7th, at Nakivubo Stadium
in Kampala. Amidst the fiery works of the Spirit, attendees there responded
with fervor to Manmin mission team’s performances of Korean traditional
dances and praises in English and the local language.
Above all else, through Dr. Lee’s messages “God the Creator,” “Why is Jesus
Our Savior?” and “God the Healer” and his prayer, from a woman coming to
walk for the first time in 23 years and a person’s shorter leg being length-
ened to people healed of serious scald, polio and stroke, countless miracu-
lous works of healing were manifested. An evil spirit was driven out; the deaf
came to hear; the blind came to see; and AIDS and other different kinds of
epidemics were healed, all through which the countless gathered gave glory
to God with their testimonies. When people who had done their utmost to
prevent the Crusade from taking place witnessed the marvelous works of
God’s power, they repented in tears. This affirmed to all the involved that
God’s providence towards Manmin would be accomplished no matter the
kind or degree of interference. Proceedings from the Crusade were broadcast
live on Uganda’s state-run U-TV and C-TV, and featured on various news
programs as well.
