Once an overseas work trip is scheduled, the production team is as-
signed. The team and the relevant departments meet several times,
first to become familiar with the details of the event they’ll be covering,
and then to form a general outline of how to depict the event on the
screen. Upon returning, all the footage is thoroughly examined, and the
interviews that require translation are passed along to the Interpreta-
tion Department at GCN. Subsequently, the recordings and interviews
are reviewed in greater detail, as editing begins and the manuscript is
written. At the same time, various editing materials are gathered from
the Internet or locals by request. An episode is then edited in stages as
usual, from the rough cut, overall editing, and audio to voice-over and
mixing-master. The most important aspect in producing each episode

Throughout the week, the team divides the time and segments for
shooting, and begins the rough cut in smaller sections. The producer
takes charge of the “ Testimony” and “ Anchor” cuts, while the assis-
tant producers are entrusted with the “ News” and “ Announcements”
segments. After the assistant producer’s shots of filmed footage have
been examined by the producer Tuesday or Wednesday, overall editing
and voice-over are added.
Overall editing is a process in which color corrections and addition of
effects are made after the first edit. In the final stage, subtitles are add-
ed while appropriate music is considered for the edited frames. After
