Mentor in Faith

Elder Gu speaks to me a lot. He especially gives me hope for Heaven. “The life on this
earth is very short. Shouldn’t all the Meditation staff meet up in Heaven? I will invite all of
you; invite me, too.” We have joyful conversations. With his advice, Elder Gu has helped
me tremendously in growing my faith, and I am touched by his attitude. This show does
not run for 20 minutes or half hour; it is a very short, three-minute program. If he so

chooses, Elder Gu may get the hang of it or do it half-heartedly because he has hosted
Staff, Meditation the program for a long time. But he hasn’t lost his first resolve but practices diligently and
serves the staff. I’m also touched by how Elder Gu always cherishes God’s Word. He tries
to find a way to help the viewers feel the love of the Father, the Lord, and the shepherd.
I see him do this every time and think to myself, ‘This is true faithfulness.’

Elder Gu! If you had an opportunity to host another
program, what genre or program would interest
you the most?

It is my privilege to host Meditation. I am thankful to God for blessing me
to perform this precious duty. I am joyful to give glory to Father God. As
I’ve only thought of giving glory to Him with this program alone, I’ve never
thought about other programs.

Elder Gu’s favorite Bible verse is John 15:5.
I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him,
he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
Elder Gu keenly realizes that he cannot do anything apart from the Lord
and the shepherd, and says he is nothing if he doesn’t abide in the Lord,
who is the vine.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, John 1:1 says, “God is the Word and the Word is with God.” You can meet God and converse with Him
when you meditate on His Word. We are sanctified by means of the Word of God and prayer, through which we can become true children
of God whom God eagerly anticipates. As you meditate on God’s Word day and night, I hope you will meet the loving Father and the
Lord; be filled with joy and happiness; and come forth as beautiful fruit of whole spirit of the shepherd!
