Featured Programs / Kids Dancing before God
With the program having unique characteristics as a children’s
program, extra care is required in the production process. The
two hosts ensure that they adjust their speech and demeanor to
those of little children. The production staff also makes delicate
efforts to see things from the children’s perspective. An example
of that effort: the staff provides a split screen in the final product
so that young children can acquire each dance move with ease.
Different songs and dances are featured on each episode of Kids
Dancing before God. Take us through the process, from the se-
lection of praise songs and dance moves to the actual shoot.
First, we select one of the newly-released Manmin Praises, and
Alkong prepares the choreography suitable for children. She re-
cords the video of her dancing and sends it to the children who
will be appearing on that particular episode so that they can
practice the routines until the day of the shoot. On the day of
filming, Dalkong or the accompanying mothers coach the kids to
dance to the praise songs. Unlike Season 1, the show no longer
focuses only on dancing but offers a variety of informative con-
tents as well.
